Actors of all ages need to learn the craft. McKinnon Acting Studio is proud to offer a class twice a month, designed to help the young actor build a foundation as a performer. This class is a place where young actors can dig deep into the craft of Television and Film acting.

Cori Dioquino began working as a teaching artist and educational theater performer in 2012 with programs and organizations such as Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Program, Creative Kids, Unchained Talent in Baltimore, Adventure Theatre MTC in Rockville and The Children’s Theatre Association. She worked with Single Carrot Theatre as a full-time teaching artist during the 2015-16 school year, helping to pilot a theater program with the company, an inner city Baltimore school and Johns Hopkins University. She continues to work as a teaching artist with Young Audiences of Maryland (YAMD) and programs such as its Summer Arts and Learning Academy (SALA).
Cori is an actor and theater educator who received her Associate of Art in Music Performance from Howard Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Theater Studies and Performance from Towson University. As a performer, she has worked with companies throughout Maryland and D.C., such as Centerstage (Baltimore), The Studio Theatre (DC), Cohesion Theatre, Off The Quill, Faction of Fools and Fells Point Corner Theatre. She has also appeared in various ads and commercials that include national print ads for Marriott Towneplace, Doubletree and the “That Guy” Campaign as well as commercials for The National Aquarium, Darcars and Ocean City.
Cori completed training with the Teaching Artist Institute (TAI) in the Spring of 2017. She is represented by 90210 Talent Agency and CMA Entertainment, both in NYC, as well as Triple Threat Talent in DC. Cori continues to study at McKinnon Acting Studio while she actively pursues her career in television, film and theater in both New York City and DC.

Benita Spinner is the CEO and Founder of BMS Talent & Entertainment. Although she started BMS Talent & Entertainment as a talent management company, BMS has grown into so much more. Her clients have landed roles on Sesame Street, Homeland, Purell, Honey Bunches of Oats, and Yahoo’s Kids Take On, just to name a few.
Benita has been recognized by her peers as one the most influential people to know in the DMV area. She was featured in Vital Magazine where she earned the Entrepreneur of the Month Award. She is heavily involved in several community service projects.
Benita hosts events to empower and uplift the community, creating opportunities to network with business peers. She hosts workshops to educate new and aspiring entertainers coming into the industry.
Benita has been invited to take part in Actors Showcases with top casting directors and has been booked for several speaking engagements. She is part of the McKinnon Acting Studio Youth Division team were she offers mentoring to parents of up and coming actors.
Benita’s passion for empowering others is evident. She is working diligently to create divisions under the BMS Talent & Entertainment brand dedicated to uplifting and empowering others. She has launched an apparel/product division that focuses on delivering positive messages for people to wear and have. In between all she does, Benita is taking on the task to how her own radio show entitled ‘BMSTE Radio’ that will focus on all things entertainment; from the business, to the actual art, and everything in between.
Her passion for family is the driving force behind her creating a positive environment in a very cut throat industry.
